FORUM 15

For the final forum this week, what are you most excited about as you finish your time in college that DOES NOT relate to work or career? How has your college experience enriched your life beyond just career advancement? What are some of your favorite memories and experiences from your time at Clayton State?

Your initial post should be a paragraph or more in length. Then, comment on at least two (2) of your classmates’ posts to receive full credit for this forum.

DIGITAL PORTFOLIOS

The Digital Portfolio assignment is the cumulative assignment for this course.

Before any major written or creative assignment, turning in a draft of your work allows you to receive feedback from your Instructor and your peers. The Portfolio Draft assignment gives you the opportunity to organize your idea and receive feedback in advance of the final deadline for your Digital Portfolios.

Overall, this assignment has four (4) components: 1) Content, 2) Organization, 3) Aesthetic Appeal, and 4) Comments. For Content, you need to at minimum include links for your Resume, Contact Email, and Social Media (if applicable). You should also add other materials that demonstrate your skills and expertise. For Organization, you need to order your content in a coherent, attractive way that makes sense to the viewer. In general, the Resume should be the first thing in the list and the contact button should be the last thing. For Aesthetic Appeal, you should attempt to give your Portfolio a sense of attractiveness and artistic symmetry to the best of your ability. You should incorporate the feedback you received on your Portfolio Drafts from your Instructor and your peers into your final Digital Portfolios. To submit, paste the link to your Digital Portfolio in D2L. Lastly, respond with a meaningful comment on at least two (2) of your classmates’ portfolio links by the deadline.

This assignment will be submitted in Desire2Learn (D2L) in a format similar to the weekly Discussion Forums.
